600 Gallon Upgrade Build

Looking good. Seems we are both pretty close to the same steps in our builds. Nerve racking isnt it? Its a whole another level of anxiety when water starts going in. Im always amazed at how water always shows where the weaknesses are. I just recently filled mine and started up the system.

Keep up the good work. I sincerely wish you the best of luck.

Thanks 300. I AM SPARTA( Sorry had a moment ). Yea leaks get on your nerves until you think they are fixed and then water everywhere. Do you have a build thread?

I admire your tank and build. I also wouldn't want anything to go wrong whit hit. Look at this posting I found from the stand template thread.
"Being 96" long you need at least one center leg. Depending on how you implement that will determine the size of the top rails."
This came from the engineer guy.

The only difference is I used 2x10s for the top part and 2x4s for legs and bottom.

Thanks b. But I asked them what size wood could I use so I didn't have to use a center brace and that's when they suggested using 2x8s for the top rail.

Ahh, I was going by the design photo. Shows only one. Worst case scenario you can add one off center but probably not needed.
