No real update for the tank except i performed a small 100 gallon water change on my DT and a 40 gallon water change on my QT tank that I used from my DT. This is normally performed on Sundays but I waited until today as I will be going under the knife again tomorrow morning and I will be out of commision for about another month. I have members from my reef club coming through the following week to help with my water changes as I wont be able to lift anything for a while. I will be lurking during my recovery so I wish everyone well.

Thanks Steve. Its a hernia surgery that I've been fighting for the last 2 years and has hampered me especially when I have to work on the tank. I should be good though. Not happy having to report at 5 am for surgery and the doctors don't even report themselves until 8 am.

Yo bruh. I'm having surgery today. Now you know. My mom is not to far from you. Maybe an hour max depending on traffic. She still might try and give me a licking. I'm sure you'll like that.
 
glad everything is better and surgery went well. you've got some killer deals on those fish. next time (hopefully never) you have a water spill just grab the might shop vac and suck everything up that way. sure beats towels and mops. lol

Thanks. I did request the shop vac for a Christmas present but she had other plans for me.

Sea Swirls

I have been looking at getting the sea swirls,,,,,again. Since my returns are already 1 1/2", should I get the same size or buy the 1" model. Something for yall to think about. No quick response is needed.

I downsized from 1 1/2" pipe to 1" Sea Swirls and have been very happy with the results. Also...you will save a big chunk of change. ;)
