:eek2:  :eek2: Wow Jamesburg!! I'm impressed!!! And all this time I thought you were just an average Joe schmoe hobbyist like the rest of us;)

good thing the trucker covered that bad boy up so I could not see it. otherwise I would have pulled a fast and the furious on his butt!!! :D

Simply amazing, makes me want to vacation in Simpsonville, SC

Tank was lifted with 2 forklifts. The length of the forks are 6 feet and the width of the tank is actually slightly more so some frames were built from 2X6's. Tank was moved back 5 feet and they have re-routed the pipes. Reframing the walls will happen early next week. Rerouting the HVAC outlets and electric too..

Here's some more shots of the install...

The size of this tank is certainly impressive... but if there are not going to be any LR and it's not going to be a reef, the contents are probably going to be disappointing.

yeah a school of anything in that big a tank will be arresting at the least. and the minimalist thing might be awesome... no decor... just sand... like a sand bar... I'll drink to that

OK, enough tagging please!

Just wanted to let you know that there is an option at the base of every thread that allows you to "Subscribe To This Thread" to follow along with any that interest you.

If you have thoughts or opinions, chime right in. However, if it is to subscribe only, it is more polite to do it the other way as email gets sent out to all subscribed members when you post a "tag".

 yeah that was a bit strange but I guess there was good enough reason to remove them. My wife made a comment while looking over my shoulder, something to the effect of, that our 1000g display is really just small potatoes! :D

We are having "Rock and Waterscape" build several "fish friendly"
islands to install in two of these aquariums. We want to be able to habitat these aquariums with large angels and butterflys and this seemed to be the best option.

honestly, what are you going to put in there, are you going to keep gamefish species? you could probably fit a tarpon in that thing...jk

Just wanted to bump this up, we'll be plumbing in a week or so and I'll be sure and post lots of pictures. Tank was moved to the new position and after a small setback, we're back on track :)
