6025 - Clip

The clip on my nanostream broke for the 2nd time in 6 months. The firs time it broke I just ordered another one online but I wanted to check to see if there was an issue with these. I don't really mess with the powerhead at all so I'm not sure why it would break. I don't want to keep shelling out the cash for clips only to have them need to be replaced so soon. Is this something I'm doing wrong or a known issue?

This is a known issue and Roger will replace it under warranty most likely when he returns from vacation. Tunze is working on redesigning the bracket in the future.

Ahh okay thank you. Should I just wait until he returns and see's this post. Or is there something else I should do?

Hey my clip just broke too. I just bought it 2 months ago and its already broken!

If you are in the US PM me a name and address and I will send one. In Canada you need to contact Tunze Canada. We will have a redesigned clip soon. The current design has issues with the plastic being thin and if overheated the thin parts burn and the carbon weakens the material. Our molding machines cannot control the temp so precisely that the problem is eliminated so we have to change designs to a thicker clip.
