6025 Problems Recall?

I purchased (2) 6025 approx 2-3 months ago and didn't have a problem until recently with the 6025.51 Brackets.

#1 Pump (Week Ago) found that the 4 tiny arms that attach to the magnet had all broken off...I did not touch it--found it that way one morning after lights came on. Luckily it didn't shoot water up at the lights.

#2 Pump (Tonite) looked like two of the arms had broken and pump was pointed up at the surface---I tried to move by moving the magnet on the outside of the tank to redirect the flow and the other two arms have broke off>>> Also have a problem with the screen not "Lining up correctly" on this pump. It won't secure tightly.

Do they (four little arms) get that brittle in that short of time?

I do not have a problem buying new brackets but do not want to have to do it every couple of months.

Thanks,
Chuck

Tunze is aware of the problem you have seen and they will take care of it. They supposedly had a problem during the molding process, but they have corrected it.

The really cool thing is that they admit they had an issue and they will make good on it. A lot of other companies would admit nothing and just send you another junk part. Tunze stands behind their stuff 100% which is why I wont buy anything else.

Just send me a PM with your address. Some of the early clips were overheated in the mold, the lexan plastic carbonized and became very brittle as a result. When they are properly made they are flexible and springy. I will send a couple replacements no charge.

Roger,
Thank you for such great customer service. Parts are installed and everything in the tank is happy and looking back to normal :)

Thanks Again,

Chuck
