I installed a 6025 a month ago - and it works fine
just installed another one and 50% of the time thus far it starts up in reverse causing a sand storm
On a brand new pump the culprit is usually going to be the small amount of vaseline they use in assembly and a pretest. If they used too much the parts get gummed up. Just pull out the prop and stainless steel disk and wipe them down and it should be resolved.
