I just got my replacement new style ones, and just wanted to make sure I was putting them in right. Blue side goes toward the motor side, and black toward the drive unit correct? Also is there something I need to take out (old bushing)? If so is there an easy process for doing so?

That is correct. My preferred tool for taking out the bushing is a pick tool like this-

These are very common in the dollar tool bins at dollar stores, hardware and autoparts stores, my local NAPA has a set of 4 for $3. They are a bit cheaper made but do the job. Besides that, if the pump is very clean, sometimes you can just slap and shake the pump and it will fall out. Very small needlenose or hemostats can also work.

It looks like it won't work to click on, but if you cut and paste in the browser or search our part 0220.707.
