6055 vs 6000

Setting up a 120g mixed reef. Is there any advantage (aside from availability) between the 6000 vs. the 6055 when coupled with the 7095? Want to use two powereads at oposite sides of the tank. Strong return provides some agitated flow through the center of the tank. Thank you.

the 6000 can easily be upgraded to a 6100 with the $72 transformer upgrade. the 6055 can be aimed much more easily to many more directions.

As Anthony said. That is the main reason to go 6000 in my opinion, especially if you will be keeping SPS or upgrading later and may need more flow.

But both will have the same capabilities on the 7095 right? Ok so if I have this right we are talking flexability vs. upgradability.

Yes, the controls are the same but the 6000 does pump more and is upgradeable.

just 1 , its 3000 gph, i may add a 6000 and conrol themboth with a tunze multicontroler

I've got a 6000 that I would like to upgrade the transformer on, however I can't seem to find the information/link to do that. Can someone please hand feed it to me
