6060 in a 55 gallon?

looking at purchasing a 6060 for my new 55 gallon setup. would like lots of flow without lots of energy consumption. $$$$

would this be too much flow for a tank this size? i think its 48x12x21

It isn't a good pump for a 55, the flow pattern is 4ft by 2ft and the tank is to narrow so the flow gets channeled and wreaks havoc on the and bed and nearby corals. I would get a 7400/2 or a couple of 3000/2 and alternate them on timers (no wavemakers).
