6060 in a 90 gallon?

I'm setting up a 90 gallon reef tank (48" length). Will a 6060 be too much water flow? (I also plan on keeping a few small fish in the tank)

Thanks,
joe

Tell me more about the corals you plan to keep and what sort of substrate you will have.

Although I'm not exactly sure, I'm thinking of mostly hard corals. For substrate, I'm using aragonite (somewhat large - definitely larger than sand).

Thanks

The preferred would be a 6000 and a single controller, the 6060 is not adjustable or suitable for a wavemaker so if it was too much for your corals it would not leave you much option.

I would agree with Roger on the 6000 with a single controller as the best bet for a 90 gallon. I put a 6060 in my 110 and it is a lot stronger than I anticipated. It took me a couple of days to finally get it positioned so that it wasn't knocking over corals or kicking the sand around. I also had to get a magnet for it in order to postion it where I wanted. This is my first Tunze product and I am definitely impressed.
