6065 make clunking noise

I have a 6065, it starting to make clunking noize. I turn it off make sure nothing is caught inside, waited for few minute., plug back in, it will stay quiet for about 30 sec then it start againg. how do I fix this issue? and does anyone know how I can contact Roger? Maybe he can help.

Have you taken the impeller out and inspected it for any damage, does it spin free on the shaft? Are you running this on any kind of timer or wavemaker?

THX Shawn, the impeller look fine and spin freely. It is directely plug into elec outlet.

Make sure the prop and magnet assembly can freely spin on and slide up and down on the shaft. The most common cause is some detritus or calcium deposits have seized the magnet to the shaft, it must be able to move up and down as well as spin without dragging the shaft.

How old is the pump?
