6100 & Singlecontroller *not working*

I just got a 7091 for my 6100 (actually bought it a little while ago & just hooked it up).

Here's the problem- If I set the power 1 knob to its lowest setting & the power 2 to the highest (or vice-versa) with the pulse knob 1/2 way the output from the 6100 is the same- There is no ramping up/down like I thought & its just blowing full blast. (driver is at 100%)

I've tried changing the pulse length, adjusting driver power, adjusting power 1&2.. Hell, I've even blown on it like the old Nintendo games.

Whats the deal? do I have a broken controller or what.. Is it "Operator error"?

Myself i got a good laugh out of that comment :)

when you push the feed button does it stop the pump???

Is it a 6100 or 6101? Is the cable completely connected, not loose in anyway? Do you have a photocell connected?

Have you tried making all the connections before connecting power to the pump? Be sure the driver is at 100% power. Do the lights on the controller pulse back and forth?

Yes they do

Do you have access to a second controller so we can narrow down if the problem is the controller or the driver box?

Roger-

Took the 7091 over to Marco's (Wizmaster) to test it out on one of his 6100's. Well, It does the same thing-so there is obviously a problem with it. We think it has something to do with the "Pulse" control- but were just guessing.

What should I do now?

Send me the controller. Include a printout of this thread so I know what I am looking for.
