I have a 6100 purchased brand new about a week ago. The pump has worked fine except for being slightly noisier that it's twin on the other side of the tank.
It tripped the alarm after about 3 days, which I just attributed to gunk building up in it. I took it out and cleaned it all, it worked fine for a short time then did it again. Cleaned it again, when I ran my finger through the inside of the magnet cavity, there seems to be a bump/bulge on one side. This may just be to hold everything snug, I don't know.
Is there anything else I can look for or test?
