6101- I want to "broaden" the flow

Can I use the shroud from the 6301 on my 6101? would this work to broaden my flow??

Where can I purchase these from? How much are they?

You can use the 6201 shroud. It has a 63mm opening vs the 50mm opening of the 6101. part number is 6200.130

The 6301 shroud will not result in any wider flow than the 6201 shroud and it costs more.

Kind of Pricey.. $50 & $70 ea... Is there anyway to modify them to get the same results?

Maybe you should make the 6201 shroud an option for smaller tanks.. Could that be done? I don't want to hack up a $50 shroud if you know what I mean..

We provide the intake that is best suited to the pump in the majority of situations. Quite often people buy a second strainer to have a spare while they clean one. You could probably sell the other one and recoup most of the money.
