6101 not working

I have had 2x 6100 for about 4 years and have never had any problems with them. Thus, when i got the opportunity to buy 2 6101 off a fellow reefer I jumped at the opportunity.

I set the them up today and one worked perfectly, but the other did not start up, all that happened is the propeller shook. I took it a part and cleaned it and then I got it to start it ran 1 minute and then went back to the propeller shake, left it for a while and it stated up again ran for about 2 minutes and then stopped again.

did i get a bad pump? can i do something to fix it?

It sounds like the pump is dying. I would contact Xenia to see if you can get it replaced under warranty or at a discount.
