The shaft in one of my 3 seio 620s crapped out :(. my tank won't suffer with on 2 620s thank god. I tried ordering the replacement shaft kits from drsfosters... 9.99 is a descent price. But they wanted 16$ S&H for a letter mailed item! No thanks.

Anyone know where the best place to get this would be?

hehe.... you are the devil. I know I should do a closed loop, but I don't think I'm quite ready. I went from an mj1200 with a seio 1100 to three seio 620s. I'm very happy with the flow in this setup right now. Except that it is only two thirds now :).

Well I'm going to bite the bullet and buy that from drsfosters. Probably going to pick up a calcium suppliment and food as well.

I don't know what a closed loop is, but if you describe what you are looking for, I can try to find a site that sells it, though I can't guarantee that it will be as cheap as US prices.

Basically what a closed loop is is a pump with piping that creates flow so we don't need to run aditional pumps inside the tank for flow. The only way to get one is to make it since every tank is different and it would be impossible to mass produce a system that could work on every tank.

not yet Don.. ive pretty much just given up on them. I guess they had included them in with my skimmate collector, but I didnt know and threw the box away. They said they were going to send me another set, but I doubt they have.

The only time it get's more complicated is when you add more than two outputs. trying to balance the thing out is a pain. My closed loop manifold withh have 4 -6 out puts so I am trying to figure out what I need to do to balance it before I build it.
