6200 Screen on a 6100

Hey Roger,

I saw someone was using a 6200 Screen on a 6100 to give wider flow. Does this work? How much would it be to get 2 of these screens?

It does work but it is fairly expensive, the 6200.13 suction housing costs $49.94, not that the included one is any cheaper to buy but as an upgrade it is an expensive proposition. The flow is widened to about 30" in diameter but the reach is reduced to about 5ft.

Considering I have a 75G ft. tank, I think this would be a good ideea. Some of my SPS that are growing near the output of my Streams are becoming negatively effected byt he flow. Since the flow is more spread out, I assume the flow would be less strong? Where can I order these?

Roger, what is the original flow on the 6100? You said 30" and 5 ft with this mod, but was wondering what it is now.
