6205 mount allows the powerhead to slip

Hi Roger

I have two Tunze 6205 powerheads in my tank. They were purchased in June of 2010, so I believe that makes them the original model.

One of the two powerheads has a tendancy to slip inside of it's holder. The result is that it points down into the sand bed and causes a sand storm.

I have tried squeezing the mount together, but without sufficient force where I am concerned about breaking it, this has not helped.

The other power head will sometimes slip a little but hasn't yet slipped to the point of causing a sand storm.

How can I fix this?

Thanks

- Brad

They would definitely not be the original model, besides the drive unit and clamp, everything from after Feb 2010 would be current. I assume you are in Calgary Alberta Canada? I only handle the service for the US so you would need to contact Xenia or your dealer. The clamp can be easily bent in so both ends of the C touch without fear of breakage, but a new clamp should not be out of the question either.
