6205 Propeller Housing

MeuserReef

Welcome to the next level
I would like to try a 6205 propeller housing on my 6105 to help broaden the flow pattern. I looked on the Tunze website for a part # but could only find the parts for the 6101/6201's.

Can someone help me out with a Part# and a price?

Thanks,
-Josh

BTW, Roger..... The new Streams ROCK! (I wish there was more room in my tank budget....)

Hey thanks Shawn! Perhaps I should have sought council on this first.

I have a 60" long barebottom tank. The 6105 is currently mounted to the side glass, about 3" from the front panel, and about 8" from the top rim of the tank. I currently have the pump aimed (HA! do THAT Vortech!... sorry) so that it basically shoots across the tank and hits the opposite side glass. At 100%, the flow actually starts to disturb my Frogspawn on the opposite end of the tank. My thought was to use a 6205 shroud to "shorten" the reach of the pump, yet broaden the flow so that it hits more of the rockwork.

Should I be looking at the 6205 shroud, or the 6305 shroud?

Go with the 6205, I believe the output size is the same on both, the difference is the intake is more open and less restrictve (half the bars around the intake) due to the amount of water being pushed.

i am using the 6205 housing on my 6105....definetly not as strong of a flow, but definetly wider which is nice if u dont care about the flow hitting the other end of the tank, so now i am not blasting the corals close to the powerhead.

The 6065, 6085, and 6105 all share the same housing(6065.130). As well as the 6125 and 6205 use the same part(6205.130). 6305 uses part 6305.130 which has less "teeth"
