Hey guys im super exited just picked up my new tank 3 days ago after 10 weeks of gain crazy. Tank is a 62g in wall peninsula 30Lx24Wx20T. Now the hard part begins, deciding what equipment im going to use lol. Well this is the tank and this is what im planing to build pretty much. For lights im going LED just because of how much ventilation im going to have were the tank is i really done want overheating issues. Leaning towards the AI but dont know if i should go Vegas or Hydras, or even how many i will need. Thinking 1 should be enough though but idk. Tank will be mostly sps and zoas. Well enough talk here is the tank . I will start this build hopefully this week or next after i come back from vacation.

Nice work with the wife. And thank you for serving.

I'd show my wife that but I'd be afraid she would then know how much everything with my tank costs. :(

Ran into a few issues once again but hey adapt and overcome. I have to drywall the inside of it with moisture mold free drywall. But that will be next week since im going on vacation with the wife ;-)

Looking at the bottom were your sump will be will need ventilation. I would place a vent cover on on of the sides so fresh air can get in and out. Also have you thought about cooling the tank? Doesn't look like you will be able to use a chiller.

Also think about we're you will put the outs lets gfci I mean?
Trying to help

Think about how you will clean the front pane of glass ok
The top door will be a good size so that i can access to all of the tank, and i got me a nice little stepping stool lol

Af far as vent, i thought about putting an ac vent on the wall that i didnt take down.(back wall) and placing some fan in the inside of this vent so suck in air from the outside.BUTTTT having a hard time explaining it to the boss LOL(wife) shes more into being pretty than functional if you know what i mean. And no no chiller. i keep my AC at 73F day and 68F night year round. never had and issue with heat / IF anything water being cold lol.
GFCI will be by the sump . There is already an electric box there and im having and electrician come and move it for me or ill do it my self. Figure as long as i keep it above the sump i should be fine.
