6300 Stream

When can we get the 6300 Stream and will it work with 7095 controller? I just saw it listed in a Champion Lighting ad.

First, it is not intended for home hobbyists use. It will puree small reef fishes and was intended for large zoo and public aquarium exhibits housing large fish. They should be out in Novemeber and will be compatible with the 7091 and 7095.

I agree with Roger. Tunze 6300 designed for larger tank which required wide range flow. Tunze 6200 or 6100 should be able to handle your 360g. Tunze 6200 flow 3feets wide, i don't know your tank dimension but its should be able to cover all dead spot in your tank. When i heard about tuzne 6300, i really want to get a pair for my cube but again the 6200x2 is more than enough. I don't have any dead spot in my 48x48x24 tank.

I already have 2 6200 and a 6100. My hope was to put the 6300 on the last of the 4 sequencial stages of my 7095 to give a short but very strong pulse/wave. I want more short pulse punch on the 4th stage then what another 6200 will deliver.

Roger, why will the 6300 puree? doesn't it have the same type of cone protector?

My 360 is 96lx36wx24h.

It wasn't possible to get that much flow and leave the cross in the front so it has a 2.5" open hole and every other tooth is knocked out of the screen on the intake side.

I don't see tangs and Angels getting sucked in, does the 6300 have the same fish safe period spin feature of the 6200? What do you think the type of pulse wave will be with the 6300 on 7095 forth position on sequincial?

It is more a threat to Chromis and small fish- over 4" it is fine. A 6300 is almost twice the power of a 6200, I know the numbers don't show it but in person, that is about what the flow looks like. It will have fish safe but small fish will likely still get sucked in.
