i can see them when I click through...strange...anywhoo, they look kind of like yellow button polyps to me.

Do they look like this?

This an amazing build! I would love to have solar power running my reef and pond!

Simply amazing!

... Nice dog too!

are hydroids bad?

it is definitely not algae. there is a definite stalk with polyps at the end. sorry for the crappy picture.

it would be easy to take out and remove the few rocks that have them.

truely amazing bud... i enjoyed seeing it! cant wait for more updates well done! (btw your house looks beutiful from what i saw, it will look great once its done) love the kois!

they look like regular yellow polyps to me, just a bit brownish. I have hydroids (2 varieties) in my tank and they are smaller than that.

main tank 260 gallon with 6" DSB and attached 55 gallon with 8" sand bed. 180 gallon mostly anemone tank with a couple fish and clams.

then there is the 400 gallon barrel in the yard with live rock, lots of aptasia and a pair of crosshatch triggers, a foxface and sailfin tang.

If you pulled the crosshatch's out of the barrel, you could throw a couple hundred peppermintshrimp in and clean that rock right up before using it. I figure is you left the triggers in, you would just be giving them an expensive meal

I would absolutely look forward to that if it were my inheritance.. And I may even try to speed the process up (as soon as it were done) ;)

Im definitely waiting to see how this one pans out.

Interesting. My cousin Donn has his house extending over his koi pond a lot like your temporary deck.

So I take it you didn't get that paint from the Israelis that generates electricity!

That sounds interesting. What's it called?
I like your koi pond. Do you have a thread for it that you can link me to ?
