awesome build, thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your time checking out my thread ;)

Any updates on the tank? I've finally got my tank running well and will need to get some nice keeperz frags soon. Hope you're at the next LVVR meeting.

Short post

I have to keep this post short, because I have to keep the drool off my keyboard! ;)

Beautiful tank!

Congratulations!

hey heres a question. How did you make that arch? Did you just cement a bunch of rock together? And still axiously awaiting more up to date pics :P

All I can say is what a dream tank! This is better than the past 4 tanks of the months combined!

I'm also curios how you bond your rock. Exactly what type of cement etc do you use?

Wow-I apologize for the lack of responses-they are coming but here's a few pics I recently took for now-

Are you happy with the Lumenarc's? Do they cover the width of your tank or do you wish you purchased a different reflector?

Thank you for checking out my thread-I don't like to bond my rocks, so I ran a stick of PVC through the rocks I chose and used them that way-shish-kabob style-it worked great-

FTS waaaaaaaaaay overdue. ;)

sorry it took so long but glad you cared to see =)

Thank you-no cement-this allows me to change the look every once in awhile or make room for coral growth-

Rick- my mini lumenarcs allow more room for actinics but the large lumenarcs covered the 48" pretty well. I do allow about 6-8" from the front panel

The tank looks great Joe. Very impressive as always.

Thank you Mark-when do we get to read the write up on your tank so we can learn some of your secrets?

Tank look great Joe..

Steve-thank you my friend-just be sure to clean out that UV once in awhile, it gets dirty:frog:

hehehehe, tell me about it brother. I will keep it clean... Call me when you have the chance...

How do you clean the glass or place corals in the tank without access from the front of the tank? Do you need a snorkel?

Awesome tank bro, one of the best i've seen, and I don't know hardly anything about corals, but I do know a pretty good bit about fish. Powder blue tangs are very aggressive, or should I say territorial, as you've mentioned in some of your posts, for instance when you tried to add the blonde naso, but in my experience, when a fish a crypt, it becomes even more irritable and that may be some of the aggression issue. I would have no idea how to treat it considering it would be very hard to rid in your system, and expensive to boot. Just wondering if you had looked into treatment of any kind, and also do you dose any kind of carbon source.

Keep up the great work, very inspiring.
