700g in the mix-

clekchau how are the acanthurus tangs doing with aggression?

The Acanthrus do fine together, the clown tang and one of my purple tangs has begun to pick on the black tang though-

thechad21 How do you like the bare bottom so far?

Barebottom has been good for maintenance and I like the look-

Sarcophyton874 Wow that's an awesome tank. The new aquascape looks even better. Do you have any pics of the tank as you walk into the house/hallway?

I think there is a hallway pic earlier in this thread

Here's a few fish room pics-

Jnarowe-I think it is because the humidity,If I do not keep the room at 55%-70% RH,condensation builds up on everything-

Here's a look at the wall divider

Yeah my humidity averages around 50% but will spike up to 70% as well. I have been contemplating removing my stainless tables and installing wood/Formica ones.

BTW, where did you get the SS shelving? I am looking for something like that for my store.

Well I fabricate, install and now supervise custom installations at the hotels here in Las Vegas, so that is why you see the fish room being made of mostly embossed aluminum and stainless steel, saying that, there's prolly a custom fab shop out where you are that could make them for you. Just tell them your interested in some "hidden bracket shelves"-they'll know.

wow, that is seriously dark stuff!

BTW, I was working on those measurements a couple days ago, got side-tracked, and my email got dumped. I'll get to it early next week.

Very nice!! Love the FTS. I noticed the RC's shelved in the room and had to take a second look. Looks a lot better. Have you thought about putting a black film on the back glass wall?

Thanks Invincible, means alot coming from you, your tank thread is artwork man. I plan on building black embossed aluminum panels that will be removable because I do like being able to see what's going on behind my rockwork. With the lights off in the fishroom, it's not too noticable but it could use something. Thanks again-

No problem. Your setup is top notch! I especially love the Formica. That's exactly what I will be using for my stand. Is Formica expensive? Im asking because I was quoted a certain amount for my stand and wasnt sure if that part of it was what made the price so high. I also wondered how easy it is to apply.

Formica (brand but made by multiple companies) comes in sheets like plywood only rolled up, and it is not too expensive. You need a good bench surface to work on, appropriate cement, and a roller. Then a finish bit for a small router makes the job get done better.

You coat your project and the Formica with the cement, let it set up (when it is clear it is ready), and lay it over the project piece on top of dowels, sticks, or whatever. Once you have it in the correct position, you remove the dowels starting at the center and working your way out. Once it is in place, you roll it out to get out any air bubbles. It's not too hard to do. When it is set up, you route the edges clean.

Maybe I misunderstand, but I think your talkin about the embossed aluminum panels I made for my stand, I claded my walk about, skimmer stand and garage door with it.Is that what you were looking at?

jnarowe, you sure do know a lot about formica! Want to come build my stand?? ;)

keeperz, ah sorry. I thought i read somewhere about Formica. I must of misintrepreted it. LOVE THE RADIO!!! That pic brings me back to reality. :)

well I had to build a panel facade for my display refrigerator and freezer at my store. I used Wilsonart Hardrock Maple.

Thank you TXSandy-all the nice comments are appreciated, I need to figure out how to do a video, seemed complicated last time I tried to upload it,just something else to learn.
