Came home tonight and the pumps were not working and the alarm was NOT on. After playing around (unplugging and plugging) got one to come on. Figured the other was just jammed with calcium. I let it soak for several hours in water/vinegar mix. It will still not come on. When I connect this pump to the multicontroller (by itself, the one not working) no lights come on on the 7095.

I cleaned the other one also (just let is soak in vinegar/water). Now this one will not come one either. I connect it to the multicontroller and the controller acts like it is pulsing, but the pump does not move at all. The part that plugs in gets very hot, and the metal box that the pump is connected to gets too hot to touch. Eventually the 7095 just flashes the green lights at the bottom but never sounds the alarm.

This system is less than 2 months old. I am very upset it is no longer working. Could someone help me out here? I am feeling like I totally wasted $750..........:mad2: I am going away on vacation for 2 weeks soon and can't afford for this to happen when I am away......

Even when I take the 7095 out of the equation neither pump works....

Nothing has gotten wet either, everything is mounted out of the way.

Just sit back and take a deep breath. Roger will take care of you. You didn't waste $750. Tunze customer service is top notch! he just doesn't check the boards all day like we do :D

I left the pumps disassembled in the vinegar solution last night. They are now as clean as when I bought them. Still do not work though.

Ray, I sent an email, I am sorry i had a meeting and was out for a couple days and just got back in to work.

Thanks for the response and the email.

Should I send everything back to you just to be sure (all pumps/7095/Transformers)?

I have these plugged into a surge protector along with a couple other pumps and the surge protector did not trip.

Thanks!

WOW! I just had the same exact thing happen to me. Bought the kit on 12/14 and all of a sudden tonight the same things are happening to me. :(

Hi Roger,

You should be getting the pumps and 7095 either today or tomorrow. Please let me know what you find and if there is something I can do differently so that does not happen again.

My wife told me that she tripped our circuit breaker a couple of times last week, could that have caused anything? They were hooked up to a surge protector, albeit not a real good one.

Thanks
Ray

I will let you know, if they arrive today it will probably be after I leave, Dave will recieve them and I'll get them in the morning to work on.
