It has one 1w LED, no more can be added.

ya, and how does 1 1watt bulb give moon lighting to a whole tank?

The LED is on the end of the photocell. The moon is extremely dim, this is not a night light, but a moon light. If you put it on the side of a tank with a slight downward angle I would consider it an accurate reproduction of moonlight on an aquarium up to about 180 gallons.
