7096 controller "COM port not found"

Hi,

I have two 6095 Turbelle pumps connected to a 7096 controller. I initially installed the controller on my iMAC but was disappointed to find that some functionality was missing from the MaC software so decided to install it on my windows 7 laptop. Unfortunately, after installing the program and connecting it never finds the controller, always displaying the message "COM port not found".

I have tried running in compatibility mode (XP SP2, Vista, etc) and nothing happens.

Please help!

Kind regards

Vasco

If the controller still displays lights, the issue is simply a matter of setting the controller to COM 1, 2 or 3 in settings. The program only checks the first three COM ports for the controller and this may need to be manually assigned when many peripherals are installed and most computers use up the first 1-2 COMs with built in devices like microphones, webcam, etc.

Solved the problem! For some reason in the device manager it was saying that the USB controlled was not installed. I told it to install one and no it is working fine!

Thanks
