Ok just lost a driver and its out of warranty build date 17/04/02

Looking at the output stage we have two fets, now I know a circ diagram is not something i could ask for, but what normaly goes when a driver fails, possibly due to a stuck motor, and if ios the output stage thats failed does it also pull the initial drivers with it.

The problem is a lot of things go, in general it starts with the three transistors under the heat sink bar. From their the surface mount components go and the bridge rectifier. I have had maybe 10% success repairing drivers, I don't bother anymore.

that sounds about normal, for an output stage. still will try the output Fets and then order a new drive unit.

I think its been driving a motor unit that was sticking but not enough to sound an alarm so the driver has possibly been runing at a much higher load then normal.

Also its the unit of the pump that was alway licked by snails and hermits as a home so regularly blocked.
