75 fts with LR

now i got the tank full set up and running.... now i jsut got to wait alil while. i already have diatoms and some corals living in there. i set the tank up last friday. how long do you think i should wait before i start transfering corals from my old tank to this one? the tank is still a lil cloudy, i just put the lr in an hour ago


all i need is a 20 " tonga branch arch for the middle of the tank. if you see one let me know. thanks

Only bad things happen quickly in reef keeping. I'd give it a week minium before I would put anything in it. If the tank is brand new, no bioload and the skimmer is working overtime, its sounds like a cycle is on its way. Test your water daily and you'll know when its safe for livestock.

And I like your rockwork so far... that would look nice with an arch connecting it. Have you thought about making your own piece?

mykayel -- i plan on waiting at least a month before any fish are added. with corals, i will not add any of my rare/expensive ones until the tank is ready. i saw a few long pieces at TWP today... i measured and one would fit so i might get it and a few other pieces from other stores and test them all out.
