I don't think we will do it, I'm not sure I would be able to make something look nice ... but he really was able to do something beautiful!

well I don't have lot of update today...
all the tank was clean, the silicone is all done... I'm now happy to tell you that the tank is ready to be fill with water!!!

the only thing missing is some plumbing, should be done soon :)

but to help you wait for the futur big update, here a picture of my Red sea max (for my futur seahorses)

Now that the tank is ready for water, what's the approximate date it will be full? I'm thinking sometime in February? LOL

I just put a 90 in my foyer wall and waiting for that 115g to come out of my RODI was so painful on my 75gpd system. It took a full 2 days to make the water, mix the salt and heat the water.
 
I think she said 2 more weeks of drying for the silicone before she fills it up?
it would have been ready, but they decided to put in some extra bracing so that silicone will have to cure fully before they fill.

i cant wait for the rest of the plumbing pictures!!

the UV will be connect after the heater
I'm not sure how it will be connect yet lol I'm not the one planning the plumbing, but I'll post you pic when it's done :)

hahaha yes it may take some time to fill...
but we have a booster pump on our ro/di so it should take THAT long :)

update on the big tank!!

we just instal one of our fixture with the new bracket made in stainless 316!
it look fantastic!!

 
i am just curious of how far off the tank that the light fixtures are?
a lot of people (if the fixtures are close to the aquarium) use a pulley or sliding track system to move them out of the way or raise them to do tank maintenance. (it sucks scraping the glass with a hot fixture above you or if you keep hitting you head when cleaning.

just something to think about. (the brackets look fantastic by the way)

the fixture are close to the surface, but we will be able to raise them higher, I think it will be enough to not be in the way when we clean or put coral in... if not, we will have to think of something else hihihi
 
big update!!!!
the plumbing is almost done... we still have to glue everything and the uv won't be where it is right now... but tomorrow everything should be done ... because this week end... we will start filling the tank !!!:dance::dance::dance:

here's some pictures, like I said it's not the final product lol still have to make some change but it will give you a good idea

we change the place of the heater because the return pump would have been to strong. a seperate pump will feed the heater, UV, and skimmer :)

I love the removable site glass.

what are the 2 clear tubes above the sump, and behind the heater?
do they go to your balling canisters? (i understand the concept, but not familiar with the setup)
