Check with any LFS that has an account with Clear Choice Distribution, that's where I get mine from.

As it stands I bet you will think it's too "white"/yellow

[MENTION=315599]m0nkie[/MENTION] combo is pretty similar to my combo (but I run B+) and I feel like that's about a 14kish look. I don't think it's too white/yellow at all. If you're used to Tidy bowl water look then yes, that'll be too white/yellow

Yesterday I took off my 24" ATI/Reefbrite combo for my 60gal nem tank.

Added the Geisemann Spectra 24" MH + 4 bulb T5 + reefbrite. going to play with some Geisemann bulbs first to see their actual color.

Going to try out the
Actinic Blue
Actinic Blue
Azure Blue
Super Purple

based on this I will purchase the new bulbs for the 8 bulb ATI. as of now, I'm thinking:
5 Actinic Blue
1 Azure Blue
1 GE 6500k
1 Super Purple

looking forward to seeing how you like this.

I did put in 4 Guisemann bulbs in my Spectra MH/T5. 2 actinic blue, 1 super purple and 1 actinic. Looks a a little too purple too me...

That's the actinic... I never liked t5 actinic bulbs. Gives a weird tint..

sorry I just re-read my packaging. it wasn't actinic. It was Azule Blue

yes it's white. but the super purple covers it all. I need to wait for MH to kick in before balancing it out

Actinic Blue

so I finally swapped out the bulbs. Ended up with

6 Giesemann Actinic Blue
1 Giesemann Super Purple
1 GE White

previous setup
5 ATI blue
1 ATI Actinic
1 ATI Coral Plus
1 ATI Purple Plus

overall difference.. I think the Giesemann bulbs give it more pop. The color of my tank turned out looking exactly same as before, now with more blue bulbs. the GE bulb really made things white. My Reefbrite XHO don't make that much of a difference on pop anymore. Tank used to be more dull and the RB would make it shine. Now I hardly notice the RF turning on. The extra blue drowned out some of the RB blue.

I always wondered if anyone ran all Blue Plus, but doesn't seem too popular. I ran 4 b+, coral +, purple +, and now doing 4 b+, 2 coral +. This is on my shallow SPS frag tank. , so I really am contemplating if all b+ would be most growth...

I ran it in my 150gal to test it out for a month. I din't like it. It has a very dull blue. Put a Purple in and corals looked much better. but still a very dark tank.
