Ok, I'm in. This looks pretty great. And you've already got some nice fish in there!

Thanks mate! yeah i hope everything settles in well as i have quick cycled a tank the first time like this, but so far everything seems very well, those atm colony bacteria seems to be very good.

best regards

I just looked at all your videos.

I really like the flow and the way it is setup.

What is in the sump besides the skimmer? Live rock?

Are you only cycling with the bacteria? A bit worried on when the real cycle begins and everything starts on your rock structure, which is very nice by the way.

hi there, thanks :) will have to improve the flow a little bit the two ecm 42 will be replaced with the ecm 63.

im using some diffrent bacterias and sources to feed them well, dont worry i dont use them all at the same time

nitrate is coming down from day to day started the peak with 25 now at 10 all tested with hanna photometer

i limit feeding to an absolute minimum for the next weeks for sure and no more livestock will be added a while but so far i think the cycle is doing well, sps/lps/softcorals all very good looking

I saw that video of them feeding right after you uploaded it. I subscribed to your youtube channel too.

Personally I would add quite a bit of new live rock on there since you are adding the bacteria to make the other live rock also. This will seed it so when the bacteria drop off it will be much less of a issue adding new/more rock for the sump.

Thanks for the update.

small updates:
the tank is doing just fine, had some minor brown algae from silicate wich is mostly gone now, the pods and mysis developing very well as i dose some phytoplankton daily. no3 is 10, po4 0.00 checked with hanna

installed amlgan high efficiency uvc normally used in large ponds, just in case normally i dose a little ozone

Nice feeding video.

While I do think it is neat to have them eat out of your hand, you might want to consider what is on your hands from soap, cleaning chemicals, bacteria, or other gunk. I saw this evident at a friends once when I was at a low angle and a film appeared across the whole tank from him putting his hands in the tank.

Just a point to think about.

Haha so I subscribed to your channel given the links you shared in your thread. I completely forgot about this so when I was watching your videos while I was going through my subscriptions I was thinking, "Man, this tank looks strikingly familiar."

Now I know why. I recently watched the feeding video and enjoyed it. Thanks for the share!

thanks! yeah thats the reason i wash/spray my hands with medicinal alcohol before getting them wet. learned this from a local seahorse breeder here long time ago.
