So I just set up my 90G, and have the PS running, powerheads all of that but no lighting (Probably put it on in December). I will probably be putting LR in the next couple weeks and am in the process of hammering out my stocking lists:

Yellow Tang (added 2-3 months after regal)
6-Line Wrasse
Occ. Clownfish (2)
Oran. Stripe Prawn Goby
Lawnmower Blenny
Exquisite Wrasse
Blue Chromis (3x)
Kaudern's Cardinalfish (2x)
Green Mandarin (to be added after 1-2 years)

LPS
Hammerhead Coral
Green Bubble Coral
Favites Brain

SPS
Purple Agropora
Agropora Velifera
Pink Birdsnest
Stylophora Coral
Scroll Coral (Sheeting Montipora)

Soft

Thick finger leather coral
Colt Coral
Sarco
Xenia

Mushroom

Blue Mushrooms
Ricordea Mushrooms
Orange Mushrooms

Clams

Crocea Clam

Inverts

Pistol shrimp
Blue Linkia Star

Basic equip: Reef Ready Deep Blue Reef tank, 30 Gallon sump, Warner Marine AS-150, (3) 150 Watt Metal Halides 14000K, 64 Watts 460nm.

All of this to be added in between january and August of next year.

How bad is it? :hmm2:

Massively overstocked?

I agree with anbosu, If you have a good skimmer and do weekly water changes the bio load shouldnt be an issue. The 90g, unfortunately, is too small for the regal though...

Also, look into a nice 6-8 lamp HOT5 fixture or even a nice LED fixture(3w LEDs). Metal Halides are a thing of the past. I will never run them on a tank again.

No regal. Got it. Any purely aesthetic changes?

With all the LPS/SPS, do you think I should plan on a calc reactor in the future?

I can't stand the look of T5s or LEDs. NOTHING will ever get the shimmer lines (except the sun) that an HQI can get.

Also, I seriously hope my $500 WM skimmer would be considered big.

I was also thinking about feeding. Of course a sheet of algae for the yellow a night, and probably a cube of vitamin enhanced brine shrimp, and a cube of mysis.

Any thoughts on that?

I would add some dry food, either high quality flake or pellets. I really like the NLS pellets. For most of your fish you probaby would want the 1 mm size.

Agreed. Forgot about that, was planning to move over my autofeeder from my aquapod 25 to the new tank. On the 25, I have been using a 50/50 mix of Ocean Nutrition's brine shrimp flake and formula 2. It is set to feed in the morning, I feed frozen in the evening. Probably just carry that over to the new tank.

I think since I am not getting the regal, I am gonna get a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse.

My female clown is a SERIOUS jerk. I am planning on the clowns being the second set of fish to go in, after the wrasses and the goby. With them I'll move my corals, LR and LS from the 25. Then I will be able to convert the 25 to quarantine for the new arrivals.

After that it will be new coral time!!!
