Hi Roger,

I have read in previous threads that you need about a 5 inch clearance for the cup itself from waterline to top of cup.

How far do you have to lift the cup to detach it for cleaning?

I think I have 8-9 inches to the top of my canopy, and I know I would have enough clearance to run it, but I was wondering if I could get the cup off.

You need a total of 6.5", it needs to be lifted up 2.5" to be removed and the cup itself is about 4" tall.
