9002 replacement pump

I've been trying to get a hold of the old replacement pump 0800.040 for quite a while and now I'm starting to give up.

Is it only the housing (0800.100) that differs? Could I order a new housing and a new pump (1073.008) and make it work that way?

Would it be possible to mod my old housing to make it work with the new pump (1073.008)?

You must have the old pump, you can order it on Tunze.com, they are available.

A new housing would be another way, but this is an expensive solution. Modding the old housing is not impossible but very complicated and difficult, the old baffles must be broken out and reglued in new positions.

Know I just have to hope that I have more luck than my LFS in actually receiving it
