Does anyone know what the proper flow rate is. The water used
to trickle down the stand-off pipe for in-sump operation. After cleaning out the skimmer and putting it back together the water
is flowing much faster and splashing heavily into the sump. It's
hard to tell if it is working any better or worse, I think worse. I don't know what I did to make this happen. I tried to re-assemle it again and am still getting a much higher flow.
Could the unit pump out too much water and not give the skimmer enough contact time to work effectively?
