9410 feeding into exiting outlet filter

I currently have a 9011 and the 1075.500 outlet filter in my sump. I really like the outlet filter how it sits in the sump and firmly connects to the 40 mm outlet hose. I want to keep this and upgrade my skimmer.

Not really understand the sock arrangement on the 9411 could I remove the skimmers sock and direct the flow somehow into the separate tunze outlet filter sock. 1075.500?

I have a small sump on a 90g mixed reef tank.

While I suppose it is technically possible, any sort of elbow or restriction on the skimmer is likely to make it very complicated to set up, you could omit the filter bag but the filter bag also serves as a bubble trap and would be important in many settings for this reason.
