Why not mag float 1000?
Why not mag float 1000?
This whole thread absolutly awsome nahhm. I didnt even know they made mag floats that big....lol.
Was a pleasure to finally meet you Nahham. Sure hope next time it'll be in front of the tank with the famous avocado shakes...
As discussed in th meeting I would guess that even if the rocks had silica, metal... or if they had no carbonate... In a tank this big and with the huge amount of water exchanged daily do you guys think it'll cause issues in the tank?
In the case they had some bad things in them would it cause prolems long term or just over a few weeks or months while they cure? In this case having them in the water since now should make them Ok for using them after 3-4 months?
Hi Nahham, I have been going through the beginning of this thread since the last 4-5 hours read almost all posts, I appreciate your dedication and hard work towards this great project and wish you best of luck and success inshAllah , and yes there were talks of Avacado drinks, so whenever you have the kick off party let us know I will be there as I am not very far from Ajman, I am in RIyadh -KSA. Waiting to see more pictures and updates of your tank.
Cheers,
Adnan

Nahham, the water appears very green. Is there an algae bloom going on?, Plus there appears to be some kind of hair algae too. What did the water tests you had done say the phosphate levels were?
You need some parrotfish to eat all that algae. Parrotfish have a well developed swim bladder so they can be brought to the surface quickly. You can even catch them on a fishing line without fear of them bloating as you bring them up.
Otherwise you need to get a large siphon hose and do it the old fashioned way.
Common here and known to eat algae.... and also looks amazing.school of these will look incredible in your tank.
Clown tang, it is a grass cutting machine add it![]()
