A few weeks ago I was looking at my tank and found this:

well fed sun corals regularly release planular larvea (clones), i have a few of these from my now sold sun coral. They will grow into a small colony of you feed it. Always wonderful to find babies of things

I had tons of these in my 10 gal that I just tore down. Of course, I forgot about that at the time and sold off the rock to a guy at the LFS (he offered a few more $$ than the LFS did). I remembered them a few days later and wished I had saved a couple more of the rocks. Oh well, bonus for him. And hopefully I'll get more off the same mother colony.
