A brief review of the TUNZE DOC Skimmer 9410

The foam extractor is 1 5/8" taller than the cup with the lid. Keep in mind you will need the same space to remove the foam extractor when service is needed as you do for the cup.

Sorry to bring up an old post just wondering how much bigger is skimmer with the filter sock.

Since the sock swivels to one side and overlays the base it does not make it much larger, total would be 25cm by 18cm.

I'm going to start new some 100 ga of water SPS tank. Should you use a Tunze 9410 or maybe bigger one - 9415?

I think the 9415 is to much, 9410 will do the job, if you want more power, the 9410DC is stronger and the same size. The pump has a higher performance and better ratio of air to water.
