A CHEAPER LIGHT SOURCE. Has any one tried this.

Im wondering if there is any benefit of using halogen lights to supplement lighting an a 10 gal reef tank with 4 x 20w fluros.(2 blue 2 whight)or is the spectrum useless from halogens.
