It's a rush tour 5 reefers for 7 hours include dinner but I still got some idea. Their bare bottom tank always have NO3 undetectable, and for PO4, they try very hard to keep it around 0.03, otherwise will be zero. KH around 8~9, I don't remember exactly. Keeping some PO4, reduce organic, trace element, and lights seems keys of their success, but I don't have more detail than these.

Thanks.
I have a bare bottom tank too. I too have undetectable NO3. The colour of my corals were quite pale though until recently. I suspected that this could be due to undetectable phosphate levels. After I turned off my GFO reactor more than a month ago the coral colours improved significantly and surprisingly phosphate levels remained very low (below 0.008 mg/l). I keep chaeto in my sump. I wonder if those who you visited also keep macro algae too?
WOW! My head hurts just from looking at that dosing system :eek1: That's an amazing tank though. I love all those sps and how great their color look. Do you think you've achieved that color based on the dosing or the bulbs? Or both? I've been thinking about going with zeovit but the cost is always keeping me from trying.
What camera are you using for taking pictures? Those are some great shots!
definitely an inspiration for my current nano![]()
Good job
your aquarium is amazing but the colors dont really look like they are worth the money you are spending.
Your reef is very beautiful and its sump with the dosing system is perfect for the system Zeovit.
As for brown film have you tried using KZ ZeoZym together with ZEObak. Try as. I had great results and still leaves the white sand.
Congratulations on the beautiful reef.
Alexandre George.
What salt mix are you using or just natural saltwater? I notice most Taiwan reefers use nsw, which I feel may be of inconsistent quality and lead to some issues.
Great looking tank.I noticed in your earlier post about the levels you keep that your potassium is somewhere between 380-500.Have you noticed any different effects from keeping it at 500 over the more natural levels of round 380-400.
Tank looks great
I'm a bit surprised that you found the Salifert K kit to be difficult. It's been the best I've used so far (KZ & Red Sea being the others)
WOW~
What a splendid tank!!
It makes me send the first post on RC to you, haha
