I have AEFW and have yet to see any that are bigger than the planaria type. So my question is will the Flatworm exit kill smaller AEFW? I'm aware it's not a proper treatment for AEFW. Just wandering if it will kill the smaller ones.
I suspect my Melanurus is finding all the bigger ones and eats them before they get big. The largest I've seen is maybe 3mm long.
Anyone ever see a Melanurus actually pick off a flatworm?
Another question.. I think I read somewhere that levamisole is the ingredient in Flatworm exit.. Can anyone confirm?
On I side note.. Yesterday I did some dips in coral RX used 10ml per 2 cups. The flatworms pretty much disintegrated within 5-10 minutes. Like .. completely fell apart into a bunch of unrecognizable pieces. No harm to sensitive corals like Red Dragon either.
Another note: Mine look darker brown that most I've seen in photos and have a center pointy tail kind of like the planaria. Not sure if it's the same species as others but I'm sure they're AEFW. same mottled brownish pattern of color.
I am about 2 week in with Flatworm stop/coral booster( $170 bux.. wow). Colors are better but other changes were made for the better too so not sure if correlation is the causation.
