the fall has been kind to you. Big growth. Do you have an FTS comparison of present and say august?

I'm glad you enjoy the shots and can use them as a benchmark for coral growth :)

One quick note on the results of the past month. I changed my Kalk once about 3 weeks ago, and didn't bother changing it again until today. I noticed the Ph dropped all the way down to 7.8 at night once the kalk was no longer effective. The Ph never rose above 8 during the day. Now with the fresh batch of kalk in the kalk stirrer (1.5 cups), the PH is back to a level of 8.1 during the day. I also had the top off doser that feeds kalk stirrer fail. I was manually adding water morning and night to replace evaporation. My coral still grew, but I can see that growth slowed.

um...wow got some sweet sps goin on.i just seen the last pics but is that just a frag tank?

Thank you. I get the frag tank question quite often. It is my display though. Because of the design, I can use it to test out different approaches and theories of mine (ZEO, no sand or lr, Ph, lower kelvin bulbs, feeding, etc.). I can easily place the corals without worrying about the corals falling into each other. I also get some pretty cool encrusting growth too :) I use the racks since I have almost no rock in my entire system. The only reason I added the rock to my display was for my pygmy angel to hide at night. I had a small rack for montis, but removed it when I moved the montis to the sump. I'm hoping to achieve a "floating" reef look once the corals are grown out.
