A couple quick questions.

With the tunze 6000 and 6010 how can they be turned down, is there a dial or are there preset intervals like 80% 60% and so forth. Also how many feet does it take for them to spread out enough to cover a 75, for instance would it only spread all the way out 2ft into the tank or does it spread out quite quickly. BTW the pump would be mounted on the side of the tank facing the opposite side.

I can answer in regaurds to the 6000. There is a dial in the driver that allows you to turn the flow from 30% to 100%. A 6000 would take 4 ft to spread out completely. If you want a mixed reef then 1 of these would be perfect. I would highly recomend a single controler for it.

As Brewboy says. The controller replaces the driver control when one is attached.

So roger it does take a whole 4ft for it to spread. Would I get much flow at all on the side of the tank where the Tunze would be on.

Their is some bounce back and while the flow is not so good for the 6 inches or so around the pump most of the rest of the tank will have more than enough movement.
