I built everything from scratch. I guess it's a Berlin style system. Lots of rock, a shallow sand bed, reef dynamics skimmer(300 gal rated) filter sock,45 gal sump and dual stage reactor with gfo and carbon and tank has been up for about 7+ years.
Tank is a 120 gal. The lighting is also my own design with halides, T5s and moonlights. The bulk of the electrical is run by a reef keeper elite controller. Having 10 fish the corals have lots of fish poo to assist them in growth.
Nate I think you're maybe referring to the the M. setosa, in front and to the left of dendro with the tentacles?
The setosa is a lot more orange in person. It's the inability of point and shoot cameras to automatically set the proper color temperature that causes the colors to be so blue and inaccurate.
