I went to one of my distributors trade shows this weekend and saw and heard of a few new thing here and coming. First the new dc controllable koralias, all the same sizes and a 2 and 4 way controller available. they look pretty cool. Also I was told within the next couple months they are releasing koralia 5 and 6 the 5 will be around 2200 gph and the six will push 3600gph and will have a different motor design that will allow them to be ran on any controller. The old school red sea berlin skimmers are redesigned and look pretty cool, (super skims still beat em) perfecto came out with some really cool tanks that start at 36"L x 36"W x 27" tall and 150 gallons (this is the new reef display I will put in our new portsmouth store next month) and they go up from there to a 6'x36"x27" 300 gallon, all have nice stands with side access and canopies with both doors and hinged front AWESOME. also they came out w/ new sumps, skimmers, pumps and some nice lighting that will be priced in line w/ current but has built in digital timer and readout on the front of the light (hqi and HO t5) Seachem has some new lines of reef products along with some new foods (fish eggs and fly larve) My fish ate em like crack tonight! Oceanic has some new preston series stands and canopies with built in fans, power strips, a light in the stand that comes on when u open the door, and are lined w/ rhino liner type coating inside. also soft closing hinges. very high end and very expensive. Sorry to blab but this stuff was interesting.
