delsol650 i have checked out that site...i thought that it looks more like the northen lights myself..but not really worried about what it is..i like it lot...it has 2 new babies on it also on the other side so it seems to be doing real good....there is a long story about that frag...when i got it i did not know that my lfs had hooked me up with that freebie and i did not see it in the bag with some salt i got...well i found it 3 days later in the bag and was like what the heck is that and then saw it was some type of zoa frag...the water looked good in its bag so i tem acclimated it and dipped it..and now it is taking off...pretty hardy for sure!!!

When it closes does it display lines and dots on the polyp like a palythoa does..if so you can feed it mysis, pellets etc.. to increase reproduction and growth.

it is not closed very often put i would have to double check...i am almost sure it it does..i have not tried to feed it...but i do feed my other plays mysis and pellets

that is very true...they are under 150w 10ks...with actintics..i am thinking when i change bulbs of maybe going to a 12.5 or 14k...not sure yet

i got the zoa in the first pic as a freebie the other day can't wait to see it grow hope it grows fast...never seen that color before...and threw in a couple new pics...that grandis is growin super nice and has three new polyps coming out that are a real bright green.
