Went to the airport cargo area and got 320 pounds of Fiji Pukani live rock today. 470 has saltwater in it for a month and was ready for action.

Here are a few pics:

Tank was cloudy and I did the best I could, I’ll probably tweak it here and there. The Pukani is very light weight and went a lot further than I thought it would.

Like the layout! I hope you had someone help you with the lifting.
I thought I read Fiji banned all LR and coral exports?

Any cool hitchhikers?

Lots, to be determined what will live. Sea stars, crabs, few different worms, cowries, chitons, few SPS, pistol shrimp, mantis shrimp and a few small odd urchins.

No help. Just loaded the boxes on a 2 wheel dolly and sat on the steps behind it and did one step at a time. Fiji just went offline and my friend Mitch with livestockusa.org emailed me saying that they were able to arrange two flights out, I was one of only two people to get rock and a lot of fish and coral orders got cut off due to weight limits. I think a lot of folks are hoping to get the last order on Tuesday.

Looks like some awesome rock Nook! If you move stuff around, I would keep that valley that runs up the middle.

This is the view from the bar, kind of looks like to lobster claws. I need help figuring that structure out:)

Lobster claws view is the only thing I would change. Too symmetric for me. I'd take one side out and build up a canyon. Just my opinion. Love the rock!.

Thanks. I agree!

I thought that too, no more actual Fiji rock anymore

I hear it's probably the dive companies using the same techniques as in HI lobbying, paying, etc the fisheries folks/minister. Time will tell what happens. Walt employs a lot of people over there.
