A good phosphate test

Would someone please suggest a good phosphate test that a normal person can read. I have been trying to use Salifert's and it is quite difficult to read with any degree of accuracy even at the high resolution mode. God help me and I am a chemistry minor too.

A Hanna PO4 meter is the best and most accurate PO4 test on the market. It will read low range PO4 unlike others on the market. Its digital and very easy to use.

this hobby can be expensive huh?

i use the merck test from deltec and it works well. I dont' have enough of a problem with phosphates to warrant a colorimeter.
